Not really Hungry

"You’ve been quiet, Jason. How are you? How’s everything, and how is Heesum?"

"I’ve been thinking about things. The tearoom is fine, we’re moving to a new place soon."

"Yeah? Where is it? Is it far from the current spot?"

"Do you remember the steps where we sat and talked for hours?"

"Which ones? There are so many steps like that."

"You know, last summer, when we met for lunch but just sat and talked for hours because neither of us was hungry?"

"I do remember. I loved that neighborhood."

"Yeah, we are excited about this new chapter."

"What have you been thinking about? Is it the move, or something else?"

"Well, you know me, J; I have so many things going on in my mind at any given time. I’ve been thinking about the crash in three dimensions, 3D distance, spheres, and the void."

"The void?"

"Yes, the void. The emptiness, the frustration, the disappointment. The bottomless bottom and an undefined direction."

"Tell me all about it, Jason. Wait, shall we meet in the new neighborhood? Any chance I can take a peek at the new place?"
