Cat

Look at him. Look at this sleepy prince. I was on my way out of the building to greet guests when I saw him. I quietly called the tea master, and we watched the cat for a while. Isn’t he so lovely, carefree, and relaxed? So free.
I was feeling tired that day. You know, one of those days when you feel exhausted for no particular reason. You feel tired of life in general, even though everything seems to be in order. It was one of those days for me.
You have no idea how much trouble this lovely cat has caused in the building. I’ve had to fix so many things and clean so many areas because of him. It was hard, the building is large, and it seemed like I’m the only one cleaning it, and I have so many other things to do.
But you know, I never hated the cat. He’s a cat; he doesn’t know how to behave in a "human" way. So why get mad at him? If something needs fixing, I just fix it. There were many times we bumped into each other on the street, but I was never angry with him. I think he felt that energy, so he would stop and look at me for a while.
I wanted to have a long, careless nap in a soft bed with a cozy duvet. I’ve been busy and was feeling quite small that day, but then I saw this cat. Somehow, I felt better afterward.
I’ve met some beautiful people at the tea room. I saw a cat taking a nap. I was feeling small, and then I got better. I think my week is going just alright.
How are you? How is your week going?
