Traveling within Seoul is highly simple and efficient.
Option 1: Mobile Tmoney (Best for iPhone & Apple Wallet Users)
Tmoney is Korea’s standard rechargeable transit card, used for subways, buses, and even convenience stores.
Apple Wallet Integration: If you use an iPhone or Apple Watch, you do not need to purchase a physical plastic card. You can download the MobileTmoney app, issue a digital card, and easily add it straight to your Apple Wallet.
Easy Recharging: You can top up your balance directly inside the app using Apple Pay linked with international cards (such as Mastercard, American Express, or UnionPay).
For Android (Galaxy, Pixel, etc.): Download the Korea Tour Card (by Tmoney) app from the Google Play Store. This is a specialized mobile transit app built specifically for international travelers to bypass foreign USIM restrictions. You can easily generate a digital Tmoney card and top it up inside the app using your international credit cards.
Transfer Discounts: When moving from the subway to a bus (or vice versa), simply tap your device when boarding and exiting. If you transfer within 30 minutes, a local transfer discount is automatically applied to save on your fare.
Option 2: Climate Card (Unlimited Short-Term Transit Pass)
If you plan to heavily explore the city using public transit, the Climate Card (기후동행카드) is a highly practical choice.
Features: This pass grants you unlimited rides on all Seoul subway lines and city buses for a fixed duration. You can choose a pass that fits your travel itinerary: a 1-day pass (5,000 KRW), 2-day pass (8,000 KRW), 3-day pass (10,000 KRW), or 5-day pass (15,000 KRW).
Important Notes: This pass is valid strictly within the Seoul city boundary. It cannot be used for transit stretching deep into the surrounding Gyeonggi province or on the AREX Express Train.
Option 3: Uber Taxi (Seamless Door-to-Door Rides)
If you prefer traveling by car, you do not need to download a separate, unfamiliar local app to call a ride.
Use Your Existing App: While standard Uber rides do not operate in Korea, Uber Taxi is fully integrated into the country’s network. You can open the exact same Uber app you use at home, and it will seamlessly allow you to hail official local taxis.
Finding Us: When you want to head directly to our sanctuary, simply type "Heesum Tea Room" into the destination search bar in your Uber app, and a local taxi will bring you straight to our entrance.
