"I drove down to New York and stayed there for a couple of days with my friend. Her family has a farm in Connecticut, and every spring they burn all the haystacks. They sit around the fire and just look at it for hours.
They would sip beer, wine, coffee, or tea while watching the fire. We brought some chips and dip and were sipping beer with the rest of her family. Then it got me thinking: where are all my haystacks and my fire? There were times when that kind of 'flame watching' happened every once in a while—where did it all go?"
Jason, you’ve known me long enough. Where do you think those flames went? I couldn't stop thinking about it while I was flying over here."
