Reminders

"These are good photos, Jason. It's been a while, right?"

"Thanks, J. Yeah, it’s been a minute since I brought my camera out."

"Is this Ricoh?"

"Yes."

"Ricoh is such a great piece, and it works so well with you."

"Thanks, J. I like what I saw, and I’m happy with the shots."

"What were you thinking about?"

"Home. I was thinking of my home, the neighborhood I grew up. I hiked two mountains today, but I didn’t feel like closing the day yet, so I went out again. I saw so many water deer."

"Wait, are these all water deer?"

"Yeah. They aren't in all the shots, but they're in some of them. Yeah, they are water deer, and they all had babies."

"Jason, I think you’ve still got it."

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean. You still have it, and you will never lose it. You don’t need any practice, you don’t need any reminders. You were born with it."

"Are you still talking about the shots? I mean, they're alright, not a Pulitzer."

"Maybe I am, maybe I’m not. But I know you know what I mean. You will always have that. You will never lose it."
