Exit

“J, everyone exits. They all quit at one point. They give up, they leave, they turn their backs. There are always ends to everything.

Not everyone reaches the end without regret. There can’t be absolute satisfaction and conviction. I know that. But when the end comes and I exit, when I quit or leave, I will do it swiftly.

I don’t live with conviction and I’m fine with that. That makes me walk to the edge of the matter. When I take that walk, I finally walk with conviction. Conviction is achieved by walking to the very end of a matter.

So whether I succeed or fail, whether I leave or give up, I do it naturally. I do it with confidence.

I don’t give up when things are hard. I give up when the time comes. I leave when I leave.

People will always come and go, but conviction doesn’t come easy, and when it does, it can't leave easily.

Yeah, this sounds like 90s Jay-Z rap lyrics, but I really meant it.”

“I hear you Jason. Everything come and go, but something’s more special. Embrace it, enjoy it, and when it leaves, let it leave. Don’t hold onto it.“
