No one’s fault.

Isn’t this beautiful? This was from today. I was coming back home on my bike, saw this, managed to stop the ride, and took this picture so I could share it with you.

I learned from a young age that there’s no such thing as a shortcut. That’s how my family taught me, and how the world reminded me.

I once built something beautiful in my life. It was going somewhere, and I was proud of it. Then I had to let all go. All disappeared. No one’s fault — life just happened.

Things might take longer. No one might appreciate it, and no one would even know if I took a shortcut. But it’s never about that. Doing it the right way is what matters to me.

I once lost everything. I once had many things. But I never truly lost anything, and I never really had that much. Because I once lost everything, I understand how beautiful things are. I get to appreciate life more, so I never really lost anything.

We had some beautiful people today, just like the other day. We always meet beautiful people at the tea room. I understand how beautiful that is. Meeting great people. I understand how difficult it is. I really do. That’s how my life taught me.

I once had many things. No one’s fault — everything just had to disappear. But did I really lose anything?

Because it doesn’t really feel like it.
