Deers.

©️Heesum Tea room

It got me thinking one day: what if I didn’t have to fight this battle with my demon so that I could live my life to the fullest? We all have demons, don’t we? We all have battles in our hearts.

I was making tea one morning, then went out for a short walk. It made me wonder: what if I didn't have this demon? Then I wouldn't have to feel so weak, and I could finally do what I really want to do.

As I continued walking, I slowly understood that everyone has their fair share of battles. No one lives their life without any worries. Everyone has to deal with something, and it is equally difficult for everyone. Life is fair in that way.

I saw a couple of deer wandering around the stream while I was walking. It is winter, and it’s colder this year. The deer have to deal with that, but they keep on living rather than trying to run away from the winter.

I once stopped everything to try and deal with my battle; I once stopped everything and tried to run away from life. It never worked, and I came back to the same spot after all.

Now, I just make tea. I share tea with people, and I welcome them into the tearoom.

I walked and saw the deer, and it got me thinking that every living thing has its battles with their demons, and yet, everyone keeps on living.

I just make tea.
