Hands-On™. That’s what we do here at Heesum.

We believe true experience starts at your fingertips. You reach out your arm, which takes courage and purpose, and your finger finally touches the object and begins the interaction.

When I was a kid, I went to Montessori school, and we had a beautiful lawn in front of the building. The day after it rained, we would all run into the mud and play. There was also a lovely rabbit that lived in our classroom, and we were allowed to gently touch and interact with her with caution. They bite, you know. One kid even got bitten.

Sometimes we were asked to bring our favorite toy to school, sit in a circle, and let others touch it. We would open both our little palms, place the toy in someone else’s hands, and gently explore each other’s belongings.

Respect, trust, and courage. That is what we were learning, now that I think of it.

We offer experiences, and we want to do it the right way. The best possible way. Not in a shallow way. Shallowness does not go with authenticity.

We care about the people who visit us. It’s not even about the business.

Really. Think about it. You made the decision to travel to Korea. You searched for an experience, found us and contacted us, and made a booking. Sometimes I realize just how precious that relationship is with each one of you. How many stars had to align to make this happen?

That is why we care about the people who are willing to experience and learn. We appreciate the oppotunity. We care about your curiosity. We remember the education we received and the efforts others made for us when we were growing up. So really, it is not just about running a business. It is about fulfilling a responsibility to society.

You made a decision, and the universe brought us together. Now it is our turn to make an effort. That first bold step was making all the experiences we off to Hands-On™ experiences.

We are honored and humbly excited to be the pioneer in offering this kind of Hands-On™ tea experience to visitors in Korea.

And of course, we are grateful for the opportunity to share it with you.

I also appreciate this destiny and want to do my part.
